Our 3rd return south of the border looks to be an exciting evening – the organ is great and Kiev will blow the roof off!
Grant will not be abducting any audience members during this concert!

Dear Matt and Grant,
I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your concert at St. Mary’s Church, Richmond on 7^th February.
What a wonderful, varied selection of music and a fantastic sound.
I enjoyed the whole evening but was very moved by Meg Bowles’ “Night Sun Journey”, and particularly carried away by John Maxwell-Geddes’ “Reform of Rank Bajin”!!

Programme to include – Te deum prelude, Viviani – Sonata prima, Maxwell Geddes – Dances of the Scottish Court, Marcello – Concerto and Mussoursky Pictures at an Exhibition. 

The Trumpet Shall Sound in Dunblane Cathedral Sat 27th June 1pm,
A uplifting lunchtime programme that includes – Martini – Toccata, Viviani – Sonata Prima and Moments from Carmen.

Dunblane Chamber Orchestra with Grant Golding Trumpet. Sun 28th June 7.30pm
I`ll be performing the Telemann Concerto in D and Coplands hauntingly beautiful Quiet City with this excellent bunch of musicians from central Scotland.

Thats June at the moment August is shaping up with a trip up North and down South – more info to follow.

Chop saver – Cheesily tagged “for musicians with lips!” as opposed to what beaks?
The lip balm is great smells nice and has a fresh lemony citrus taste – there are two drawbacks with this stuff, the first being that it is very soft and you end up using loads so it really doesn`t last. Even putting it in the fridge doesn`t help.
The second drawback is you feel like a trumpet geek if any other musicians catch you putting it on!

In my opinion the best one is the cheap and cheerful CARMEX! it comes in a small white tub with a yellow top and lasts for ages (its quite a hard waxy balm) This has got me through the lip chapping season with no problems!

I tend to drink loads of water and I feel that cracked lips are also a sign of dehydration!
